Summary:
The Program Supervisor is responsible for developing age appropriate group activities for BSF clients in accordance with treatment plans and company policy.
This position is also responsible for implementing Brighter, Stronger Foundation participant rehabilitation/treatment/behavioral plans, and working with Brighter, Stronger Foundation clients and their families to ensure appropriate service provision.
This position may require working a non-conventional work week to accommodate the needs of the client/office.
MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISION:
Assist with overseeing the staff and interns working activities and events.
Assist with staff training, create teams or groups to work.
Provide oversight to onsite staff during day to day operations to ensure they follow all directions and protocols.
Assist in the hiring process.
Responsibilities:
Meet all ongoing requirements of Therapeutic Behavioral Support Coordinator (ARS)/ PRP Case Coordinator (PRP) Create Lesson Plans and Develop groups and programs in consideration of the strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences of the clients.
Create and ensure implementation and provision of therapeutic and rehabilitative activities in a variety of formats including small group, one on one, and large group and take into consideration the multicultural/multigenerational population in the program.
Research new ideas for programs and activities, taking into consideration clients' suggestions.
Initiate and plan the monthly calendar of activities Assists with transporting and/or escorting clients to, from and within the program, on BSF grounds, and on external trips.
Carry a caseload of assigned clients Responsible for all documentation related to these individuals, including all treatment plans and assessments.
All duties must be performed with the highest level of integrity and adhere to BSF's Standards.
All duties will be executed in accordance with BSF's policies and procedures and adhere to all regulatory requirement Maintain and request to order supplies as needed, conducting inventory duties, performing shipping and receiving tasks Collaborate with the Admin to ensure equipment and rooms are cleaned and serviced when necessary.
Ensure proper set-up and structure of program rooms Ensure all documentation is complete in accordance with BSF guidelines Participate in planning of client activities and special events Engage with parents and serve as onsite point of contact when needed Facilitate onsite meal prep and delivery Ensure schedule and breaks are monitored Requirements QUALIFICATIONS &
Experience:
Minimum Bachelors Degree in Social word, Psychology, Special Education and related field Access to a reliable automobile and a valid driver's license with no more than 2 points.
Must be willing to drive 15 passenger van Must have a satisfactory CJIS report.
Minimum of 3 years Experience working with emotionally disturbed youth, individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and/or individuals with developmental disabilities.
High School diploma required, AA in psychology, social work or therapeutic recreation or a related field preferred.
