Candidate must be able to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining a friendly, client service based approach.
Candidate should have a positive attitude and work well with others.
The position entails answering phone lines, scheduling appointments, generating files, admitting patients, handling invoices and transactions, filing, light housekeeping chores primarily the reception area.
Candidate is also expected to gain knowledge, while being employed, of basic exotic animal care and answer simple questions pet owners may have.
Basic computer skills required as well as willingness to learn and adapt to technological advances.
Candidate can expect to work with 3-4 other receptionists on each shift.
This is a busy practice which requires much active participation.
